I have been looking at one of these, its Zetor 7201 engine had been overheated and the head gasket was blown. I can buy it very cheap.

Another issue with this, is that the steering arms are sagged out: Are there bearing inserts in these cast iron arms, or should i reckon the cast iron is worn away, so i need to sleeve them, or buy new arms ?

If i know what its going to cost me, i can make the guy an offer, and have a winter project

Sounds like a good project, do you have a photo?

i am trying to fix up an old Fordson Super major Forklift, but need to change the engine, and have discovered when the tractor was converted to a forklift (from new) everything was built (and welded) around the engine ........... not going to be a quick swap out job after all
whole thing weighs in at 6500kg ...... so a bit more than the 2000kg Fordson tractor!
