hello New member post - Zetor 6211

Hello all,

Just joined here, I have a zetor 6211 that I would like to try and restore to the best of my abilities and thought this would be a good place to see other people journeys with their zetors. This was my fathers tractor when he used to farm. It is not in great condition at all and needs a lot of work to restore it!

Hello Paudi. We used to have a 7245 on the farm when I was younger, it had a Quicke loader too. Most of the bits I see are missing from your tractor, can still be bought new. I dismantle Zetor Crystals and sell new parts, but I see bits for your tractor are available too.

Hi diyfarmer, 7245 is a nice one alright! There is a good bit to get for it alright so it will be a work in progress for a while. My main concern is the back window smashed over 20 years ago when we were doing silage one day. The latches that hold on the rear window are not in the greatest of shape and not sure if I would need to weld on a new supports for them. I seen I can get the hinges on John Conatys website, is there anyone in particular you would recommended for sourcing the parts or are most places in Ireland decent for them?

I'm in Tipperary. I can source parts. I have 2 back window glass panes in stock at the minute but they are for an 8011.

What part of Tipp are you from? I might not be a million miles away from you!
