Check the power at the alternator for the Tacho. Should be 8V with engine running.

There definitely is a connection. The same pump runs both. You need to get the various options pressure tested. If the torque multiplier has a leak you wont get the pressure to the pto pack. Check the filters. The pump is bolted onto the front of the filter housing. Mike

The weld is probably breaking on the lever inside the top cover.

I always take the exhaust manifold off as my hands wont get behind the pump.

You need the shorter type. Part No. is 6245 2712. Could have either rubber boot, doesn't matter.

Take the ram off by undoing the 2 or 3 bolts each side. Unscrew the joints off the piston. The ends will then knock off the ram outer cylinder. Grease the seals well on assembly. Mike

I shouldnt worry too much about the measurement on the adjuster. Jack it up and tighten the adjuster until the wheel locks. Then back it off one and three quarter turns.
