Sorted by the engineer, three cup shaped bushes were the problem. The engineer repaired it in 1 1/2 hours through the inspection hatch. Hope this helps anyone else with same problem, a nice simple solution.

Ive a shipment coming in Friday that I desperatly need the tractor to unload. We have a reallly good local dealer here, he is sending his engineer tommorow, fingers crossed he can sort it!

Hi without any warning the gears are grinding whilst Im trying to engage on my 7245. Keep on bleeeding the clutch but although there is good travel still grinding and wont engage. Took the rubber off the cylinder and piston travelling showing one of the seals. Is this a symptom of thrust...

After much deliberation by two sets of exsperts its the drawbar, the front pin is vibrating as though bearing in gearbox was about to let go. Getting right under the tractor and pushing up with a pair of pliars stops the noise. sweet relief.
