Yes your right, whoever owned the tractor before me used what they had laying around to fix the problem by cutting the original part short and welding a pipe fitting to it and somehow connecting back to the tank.
I got the right part and fit on like a charm. Now the massive power steering leak...
i just ordered a new line, apparently the line that is shown in the picture has been altered some way with pipe 3/4" fittings. So it was pay $45 for special fittings or $30 for the part. I opted for the right part.
Yes that is exactly what the new one looks like, which is identical to the old one. In the picture it doesnt show but there is a another spot for 3/4 or so hose that connects to a metal pipe . The threaded male you see in the second picture is what needs to connect the elbow in the 1st picture...
This is a 7245. I have a leak on my power steering canister. Looks like someone patched it with a weld or something, hard to tell. I purchased a used canister to be put on.
I need to know what fitting I need from my new tank to the one you see that is a nut.
