My 6245 3PTH arms when carrying a load start to drop down , then kick back up. Seems to be getting worse. I assume I have some leaking o rings or seals. Anyone familiar with doing a fix for this. Do I have to pull the whole CAB off? I imagine I need to pull the lift arms and...

There is a scribe line on the left hand side of the square clutch inspection hole which lines up with marks on the flywheel that can be seen after removing the inspection cover.

What do most owners use for oil in the transmission / hydraulic system?
I'm about to change my oil.
I've been using Universal Tractor Hydraulic/Transmission oil, but I notice my manual ( 6245 ) says to use 80/90 weight gear oil??

What is the easiest way to adjust the valve tappets on my Zetor 6245. I've never done it on a dielsel. They've gotten quite noisy and are probbably way out of spec.
Is it possible to do with the engine ticking over, or would that cause an oily mess?

Managed to pull off the transmission cover without removing the cab or splitting the tractor by doing some cutting , grinding and by taking a flex joint out of the steering column.
Found the problem to be that the shifting dog that moves the rail had sheared off where it was welded to...

I did a stupid thing and used my foot to try to shift from Hi to Lo Range on the transmission. Well something broke and now I'm stuck in neutral and the range level just flops in the breeze.
I'm about to pull off the transmission cover if I can , to see what damage I did...

I have new alternator for my 1989 6245. But it has a regulator on it. My old alternator does not have regulator, instead the regulator is in with the electrics inn the cab. Can I just disconnect the regulator on the new alternator and use this new one?

I need to replace my 6245 Master and Slave Clutch hyd cylinders. I know how to get at the Master Cyl , but where is the Slave Cyl and how to I get at it?

I replaced the clutch master cyl and have a working tractor again.
when I get time I'll do the slave cyl and the cyls

the other is very week
yesterday the clutch went
I assume these are master or slave cylinder problems
questions
how does one get at the master cylinders?
do you remove the pedal mechanisms?
where are the clutch and brake slave...
