    If Dave P's suggestions don't work, find the hydraulic supply line on the left hand side of tractor near the top of the back axle as you are standing at the back of the tractor. There is a banjo bolt you can crack open there. This has cured many airlocks for me.

    I have obtained a Farmhand F12 power loader which I will fit to my Crystal 8011. Does anyone know the storage procedure for this loader? There is a sliding support bracket and tie road. Is the loader stored with forks/bucket elevated or flat on the ground? Head scratcher.

    1. Disconnect the electrical connector on the solenoid (which comes from the open/close switch). 2. Run a wire from battery positive +12V directly to the solenoid. Touch the contacts briefly - you should hear a clunk. 3. Test that you can now open/close when power is applied to the solenoid.

    Did you change the oil? It could be contamination in the oil due to water and/or air.

    Apart from injection timing or low compression as already suggested, water and/or petrol in the diesel tank could have this effect. Fuel starvation is also a possible cause - check the flow and are your filters clean? Does the white smoke go away once she starts and warms up?
