  1. Zetor 5245 Clutch Issues

Have you checked the slave and master cylinders to see if they move when you depress the pedal? You might have air in the system due to low fluid at some point or worn parts in either unit.
  2. AC Compressor and System Oil

The decal is gone, bleached out - can't read it.
  3. AC Compressor and System Oil

Tractor - Zetor 6341 Super I have just replaced the AC compressor, receiver dryer and expansion valve. After flushing the system and pulling a vacuum on the system for 4 hours, I added 150 ML of oil to the compressor and filled the system with R134a, but not sure of the amount of oil for the...
  4. Zetor 6341 Steering Cylinder

I finally got it figured out. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be. Working like a charm now.
  5. Zetor 6341 Steering Cylinder

I am about to replace the seals in my 6341 steering cylinder 93-0151 with seal kit 93-0152. Are there any tricks of the trade that will ensure a successful install? Looks pretty straightforward...but there's always something that might help. I have the cylinder off and ready to pull apart. It...
  6. 5011 Oil coming out starter solenoid

Thats good news, Kelly. Hope she runs like a top now. Good luck.
  7. White Smoke from Exhaust 6341 Super

Yes I changed the oil about 100 hours ago. I decided to back the tractor into the pond with the shredder attached and running to put a load on the engine. It helped a little but still smoking.
  8. White Smoke from Exhaust 6341 Super

I did a little more investigating and found that it was not "white smoke", but "blue smoke" - and maybe a little of both. I had to get in the barn and close the big door to find out. My eyes are getting a little age on them... So afterwards I removed the air filters and cleaned them both. After...
  9. White Smoke from Exhaust 6341 Super

Thanks, diyfarmer. I have lost no coolant at all. The smoke smells like diesel, which is leading me to believe that it's unburned fuel. I haven't had time to start work on it, but think I'll pull the injectors and see if they are corroded first. If it smoked all the time, I could disconnect the...

question 15 years and still learning

We lost a good dealer in Naples, Texas. I drive all the way to Carthage Texas now to get large items and have them mail the smaller ones. My neighbors can't even say "ZETOR" correctly, but they do brag on it... :)
  11. White Smoke from Exhaust 6341 Super

I have a Zetor 6341 Super. It just started puffing white smoke from the exhaust. Any suggestions before I get started diagnosing? Thanks.

question 15 years and still learning

Hello diy farmer and Renze. Yes 15 years. Time sort of slips away. And yes a 6341. Tough tractor. Many hard hours on it and still going strong.

question 15 years and still learning

Well - I've been a member here for 15 years. Great place. Great folks. I have learned that a Zetor tractor is one tough hunk of machinery. Folks around here never heard of them and then when they watch what it can do, they never forget it. I have also learned how to replace brakes, master...
  14. Biodiesel in old tractors

I use Lucas Oil fuel treatment. So far so good. Plus always keep an eye on the rubber hoses.
  15. Lift Cylinders on 102H Zetor Loader

I looked at different cylinders and found that the modifications I would need to do wouldn't be worth it. I had both lift cylinders completely reworked with a 3-point test for $395 USD.
  16. Lift Cylinders on 102H Zetor Loader

Just an FYI - the cost for both cylinders here is $980.00 US dollars...
  17. Lift Cylinders on 102H Zetor Loader

Has anyone replaced the OEM lift cylinders on their 102H loaders with aftermarket cylinders? If so, what brand and part numbers?
  18. 6341 Clutch Slave Cylinder

Thanks, diyfarmer. Yes I hone the rebuilds, but they last about the same. Almost always it's the rubber cup seal that leaks by and then scores the cylinder wall.
  19. 6341 Clutch Slave Cylinder

The new slave cylinder has arrived. Do I need to coat the piston in some sort of synthetic fluid? What about the rubber cup? There has to be something that's causing these things to go out. I'm using synthetic Dot 3 (ISO 4925/SAE J 1703) brake fluid. I just can't quite grasp the problem...
  20. question Zetor 6211 clutch pedal

Yes thats it. I thought I had clutch fingers broken. Its been awhile back and I was a Zetor greenhorn. :)
  21. 6341 Clutch Slave Cylinder

Thanks, diyfarmer - Ill do that.
  22. 6341 Clutch Slave Cylinder

    Ha! I may have to...
  23. question Zetor 6211 clutch pedal

Does the 6211 have a wet clutch? I can't remember. When my 5211 had clutch problems like that I had to add hydraulic fluid. It was hard to get in there, but it did the trick. Wish I had a photo, but there was a filler tube on the side of the housing for adding fluid.
  24. 6341 Clutch Slave Cylinder

You're probably right, but I have two properties that I maintain and when the cylinder fails, I have to shut down. There's no Zetor parts dealers close by so I have to order by mail. Back to the linkage - I think I can use the same pivot point on the pedal, but will need to attach the second...
  25. 6341 Clutch Slave Cylinder

Thanks for the reply. I am looking into manual linkage but haven't quite gotten past some issues...one which is starting from scratch. I'm not liking it so far but have a couple more ideas.
  26. 6341 Clutch Slave Cylinder

Has anyone done a work-around for the clutch slave cylinder? It's nickel and diming me to death. This will be the third cylinder and there's only 2200 hours on this rig...and they're around $100 a pop.
  27. Urgent help 8011 zetor

Did you replace or change the oil pressure gauge? How do you know for sure there's no oil pressure? I had to replace the sensor on one of my tractors twice, then the third time installed a wet gauge.
  28. 4X4 air cylinder

I buy my parts from Anderson Tractor in Carthage Texas. Those cylinders are not that rugged anyway. If you want a work-around, you can make it manually engage. That's what I did. It's pretty easy to do. Sorry not much help on the cylinder repair. After I removed mine and discovered how flimsy it...
  29. 6341 fuel system leaks down and have to bleed if it sits overnight

I know this is an old thread, but we never heard back on this. The fuel is pulled from the tank to the pump, first via the the bowl. The connection on the banjo fitting (on top of the bowl) can suck air and you won't know it. Those washers that seal the banjo (and all banjos on the fuel system)...
  30. Master brake cylinders

It's funny when parts wear slowly how you get accustomed to them. I guess over the course of two years, I have not noticed how the brakes wore to the point that they needed adjustment and I never realized it...I guess. There was nothing wrong with the new master cylinders. I still had a 3MM gap...
