It is time to do a complete brake job on the 5211 (serial #018061) but I hate to have it sit waiting for parts so I'd like to order before I take it apart. Is there a way to know for certain whether it has drum or disk brakes before taking it apart?
There is no "bleed" to it. Wheel cylinders have to be shot; pump the pedal and the fluid just disappears as the pedal continues to go to the floor. Doesn't build any pressure at all - either side.
PS: I have been servicing (and bleeding) auto & truck brake systems for 50 years, one can't bleed...
