  1. Zetor 5245 paint colors

Lots of auto paint suppliers can mix paint according to the RAL system. The code for the red used on most later UR1 tractors is RAL 3020. There are also codes for the other Zetor colors, and a web search for Zetor RAL will help to find them.
  2. Snow plowing with a 6341

It has been busy here today with lots of snow. I used my 6341 with an 8 ft (2.5M) rear mounted blade with 3-way hydraulic controls to plow about 30" or 80 cm of snow from several driveways and some smaller roads. The tractor does very well, even without tire chains, but after 5 hours of plowing...
  3. Zetor 7341 gearbox removal?

Do you know how he managed to break the shaft? It sounds like it must be impressive!
  4. 6340 Hydrolic Pump questions

My 6341 had the same problem. What happens is that the blocks that the o-rings fit into wear to the point that they do not put enough pressure on the o-rings. This causes oil to leak past the o-rings, which quickly destroys them. I was able to machine the main housing to be slightly shorter...
  5. Quicke Loader Option for Zetor 7245

Were you ever able to answer this question? I'd like to know more about the interchangeability of Quicke loaders.
  6. New 6341 owner

I was able to restore my pump to probably 95% of its rated capacity. When disassembling the pump, I immediately noticed that the sealing o-rings on the wear plates or "plugs" were missing a large section. At first I thought that I would be able to simply replace the sealing rings, but after...
  7. oil and fuel filters for 6340

The engine oil filter should be the same as the smaller John Deere tractors, i.e., 2030, 2150, 2355, etc.
  8. New 6341 owner

Thanks for the reply. I haven't gotten into the hydraulic pump yet, but I'm thinking that I will at least disassemble it before making a decision to order a new one. In the past, I've had good luck with rebuilding gear pumps by replacing the wear plates or lapping the end plates. If the gears...
  9. New 6341 owner

I figured out how to remove the handles from the Pto and brake levers. They slide right off after removing the cover at the pivot and the latch pin. The new ones went on fairly easy once I got the button aligned properly. I haven't gotten to the hydraulic pump yet, but I'll get there soon enough.
  10. 6431 air conditioning

I just repaired and recharged the AC on my 6341, and I used 1.8 lbs of R134a. After soldering the leak in the condenser (Zetor neglected to stabilize the hoses with a clamp, and the vibration cracked the condenser), I used a vacuum pump to evacuate the air and moisture, then recharged with the...
  11. New 6341 owner

I recently bought a Zetor 6341 that was in need of some minor care and maintenance. I have most of it sorted out, but I do have a few questions: The hydraulics work fine when cold, but they seem to get weak once the tractor warms up. I assume that the pump is the problem. Has anyone here had...
