i'm having a similar prob on my 6045, i have checked the hyd pressure on the system(i would recomend as a good start)
press is ok. i would like to know how you are getting on with it now?
the steering on my 6045 is heavy, i checked the relief valve on the pump, previous owner had cranked it up to well over 1200psi
with some washers(indicating that there is a problem somewhere else), i'm told it should be 650psi and have set it up to that, the steering still feels heavy. is there...
my loader stopped working so i checked the oil level, and its fine,
the rear arms work, so im not sure if that means the pump is ok or not? would like to know the best place to start looking for pressure in the system.
