brake resivoir is on far side of engine compartment from where you open hood. It will be on right hand next to firewall. Keep this filled it is also clutch reserve, for my model year anyway. searcghthe forums and you will find a lot more info about brakes.

Personally for me, I would replace it. I have seen batteries do wierd and bad things once damaged in my 20+ years as an electronics technician. It is cheap insurance to have it replaced then have something bad happen to the tractor. Acid can cause lots of damage in a short amount of time. Just...

The hand pump (primer) is attached physically to the lift pump. The lift pump is very small. I'll see if I can get a picture of it.

I believe one might be old part and one might be new upgraded part. However, today I did order the part form a different dealer. New Bosch lift pump on its way. Hopefully, I will have it next week sometime.
