  1. 6245 wet lines

You are correct, when I removed the aluminum plug under the draw bar , it drains the whole system. So now I guess I need to remove the top plate. What am I looking for once top plate is removed, anything I need to check or replace while I'm in there? Thanks for your help Mike, Hill
  2. 6245 wet lines

Im in the US, always assumed there were 2 pumps on the tractor. Interesting there may only be one. If the filter cleaning doesn't help, im guessing its time to take the top cover off. Thanks for your info. Hill
  3. 6245 wet lines

The main drain plug is aluminum with a magnet, you must be referring to another hex head other than that one. What your saying is I can clean the filter without all of the fluid draining out, now I must find it.. I'm not sure where it is your referring too, but will take another look.
  4. 6245 wet lines

Hello all, having problems with my wet lines on my 6245. I drained the hydraulic fluid from the tractor, after refilling everything seemed to be working fine. Well I hooked up the baler to bale for the last time this year, got in the field and the wet lines have zero pressure on them. Anybody...
  5. 6245 injection pump

Thank you Renze, I appreciate your response. I ordered a service manual and it still hasn't arrived. Do you happen to know how many gallons of hydraulic oil the 6245 holds? I'm trying to get this tractor ready for hay baling soon. I'm still having trouble with the injection pump i'm guessing...
  6. 6245 injection pump

Does the injection pump on the 6245 suppose to have oil in it like I've seen posted here on other zetor tractors? I found a plug on top and a drain plug on the bottom. Had very little oil in it when I drained it. If it is suppose to have oil in it, how much do I put in and where do I fill it...
  7. 5011 Issues

Wish I could help you with your question but I'm a new zetor owner too. It's too bad that members don't make reply's here on this forum, maybe because we are newbies? I made a post a few days ago and only had one reply and plenty of views.??? I would go with the obvious when looking at the 5011...
  8. 6245 with a miss

Thanks for your reply Alan, much appreciated. Can you tell me how to do this please? I have ordered a manual for this tractor but I haven't received it yet. Thanks , HBilly
  9. 6245 with a miss

I drove the tractor today and when the tractor is under load it runs like a champ, when not under load the engine sounds like it has a miss. Anybody have any idea where to start to resolve the problem? Your ideas would be appreciated. Thanks, Hbilly
  10. 6245 with a miss

Hey there, new to the forum here. I recently traded for a 6245 tractor and it has a miss in the engine. I'm not sure if it is an injector problem or something else. Someone has mounted an electric fuel pump just before the injection pump. I have read here where the pressure to the injection pump...
