    There should be a heavy circlip around the shaft of the pto just use the correct pliers. This keeps a nut locked into the housing of the pto clutch pack so just open the nut and out comes the shaft. Snap the shaft of one over twenties years ago and I believe this is how I got it out. 8045 long...
