10145 gearbox/pto trouble

hi all

ive got a tidy 10145, 1989...runs and drives well...but its jumping out of 3 rd gear and pto is working intermittently.....

the high/low multi power seems to be working.....the light comes on the dash board when I change from low to high at some revs...

is the gearbox fixable or do I need to look for a replacement...

pto...is needed so I would like to get to the bottom of why its not working

PTO could possibly be the rings/seals in the pack in the rear end, you can also test the hydraulic pressure going to and from the pack also by Ting in a pressure gauge onto one line and then the other

thanks fo rthe message....im going to put a test gauge on the pipes going into the pto pack see if ive pressure there...
the torque multi plier is working ok...so I suspect the pto pack and seals...are at fault...
