Hi there. It is just a while ago from my last post N:)

Here a few pics of the cavitation in the block.
I would try to repare it with liquid steel, mouldable steel, kneedbaar staal. Then replace with new liners.

Anyone experienced this before ? would like to know.
Greetings Erik.

Hi Erik,

I've come across this once before. We only had the corrosion around the top ring of the two rubber ring sealing areas. The bottom ring area was still good. We used instant gasket when we put the new liners in and had no problems. Using quick-steel would be a good cure but you would have to be pretty accurate with the smoothness of the finished job.
