I have a 11741-4c on a 56 plate which has developed 2 problems, firstly a definite noticeable delay when going from mid to high range in any gear. the delay is variable in time, up to a minute which is very annoying. The delay is only present when shifting up from mid to high, low to mid range is instant, as is shifting down the ranges in each gear (including high to mid). The mid to high shift always used to be instant. The air pressure gauge is reading normal, oil levels are correct on dipstick, air lines are tight with no leaks. The tractor has 2500 hours on the clock.
Secondly, and more seriously, the tractor is refusing to start, some sort of elecrtrical shorting out I think. Battery is fine and I have checked with a 12v inspection light and have power to ignition switch. The analog/digital dash flashes on and off and makes a slight buzzy sound when going between on and off. There are no lights working, hazzards horn etc. Sometimes the dash comes into life with the ignition switched on but this doesn't last long. You can hear the pneumatic cyclinders coming onto line and then going off line in rapid succession.
Any advice gratefully received!!

I think some connection is suspicious, probably close to the battery.

Have you checked the ground connections, both at the battery and the frame?

Hi,

The transmission oil needs to be right on the top mark as they can suck air on slight slopes. If it,s okay remove the cab floor and watch what is happening with the air piston when you operate it. They get sticky .
Electrical problem sounds like the isolator switch.
