we have had a 11741 for three years {great tractor, pulls like a train } just want it to be perfect got a few issues with it, first little issue is
how to get head light and roof lights on at the same time?
the little grey air thing on the side under cab, does not let air build up and then 'dump' it it dumps it all the time, new compressor job?
and the front brakes are not very effective but make the front wheels slide on ice
any ideas would be appreciated

Hi. headlight and roof light are not possible to have on at same time this set up comes from factory. i had the dealer rebuild mine. the dump valve is probably just stuck. try tapping it With a hammer gently. you can also undo the pipe thath goes into it and spray some Wd40 inside before tapping on it to free it up. the front brakes are supposed to brake a certain % of back brakes it sounds if they are ok to me, they are adjusted this way.

Main dealer told me once that there is a pressure device for the brakes under the cab on top of the transimisson that can adjust the front wheel brakes pressure. At the end of the day more then likely it,s the rear brakes that are wearing down while the front are taking more of the pressure.
In a nutshell just tighten up the rear brakes used to do it every 500 hours on forterra and a couple others in the area once done it would stop the shudder on the front axle .
