Me again. Thanks for the loader help . I was wondering, as a rule is the 12245 a decent tractor? What probs may I look for before I close a deal? The hour meter reads 1700 hours. Thank you in advance.

Good reliable tractor, but be prepared to work on the brakes occasionally, dry discs with hydraulic actuation. Dont expect to stop 5+ tonnes of tractor and a 12 ton trailer on a hill without help from the trailer brakes !!
Seriously though, given commonsense and reasonable maintenance you will probably only have trouble with cylinder seals, and they are easily changed or replaced and here in UK at least, they are very reasonably priced.
