Hi i have been helping a mate of mine with a 3045.after reading this forum it would appear the arms can not be lifted without the pto running is that so?
Also there is a lever next to the arms lever which has 3 positions
S M & P what do the letters stand for and what is the lever supposed to do?
Thanks steve

as far as i can make out the 5511 manual the pto needs to run to operate the hydraulics. pyo shaft and hydraulic system 540 rpm.

now then the (pms)

P position control. In each position of the main inner circuit lever, the following positions can be det up, ridig /free /antislip.

M mixed control. the inner circuit level can be set up mixed control and lifting of implements.

S power control. the inner circuit lever can set up control according to soil resistanceand lifting of implements.

evrything i siad here should aplly to the 3045
hope this helps

good luck

The pto leaver shold have a pos were the hydrolic pump is runing and the pto is not,i beleve there is a diagram on the fusebox lid.The smp lever is for draftcontrol, the P pos is for normal implement cariing, the S is for plougs and thelikes witaut depthweal, the M is a mix of the two
