3320 Front End Load - Pump to Valve Question

Hello Everybody,

I've got a 3320 with the standard three quick connects.

We built a front end loader from http://www.cadplans.com . I am trying to figure out the routing from the hydraulic pump to the control valve. I have three manuals - The Zetor shop manual, the Zetor owner's manual, and the Zetor factory front end loader manual. According to the manuals the plate that covers the pump - part number 9470114641 - is supposed to have two ports. One port on the bottom of the adapter plate and one port pointing to the front of the tractor.

My question: To connect the pump to the control valve I'm supposed to tap into the "BOTTOM port on the adapter plate." The only place I can connect on the bottom of this adapter plate appears to be the drain plug. I do not see the port as described in the manuals. The adapter plate on my Zetor is stamped with the correct part number from the factory.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

I dont know what kind of valve do you have and what pipe accsessories you got, but easiest way to mount controlvalve for front loader:

Cut the preussure line from the pump and connect it with hose to control valve port P. Then mount a hose from control valve port R or T back to cutted pipe. Be noticed that valve must be least 1/2 " size and with over preussure valve max 190 bar!

It should be working now....

I would be careful with that Cadplan loader: The 1207 model is designed for 25 to 50 hp loaders, but a 3320 weighs 500 kg more than a common 50 horse tractor... It's not a compact tractor, weight-wise. i guess the loaders IS designed for a compact 50 hp. ???

The plans are about 30 pages. Probably best if I post a photo. I'm not sure I know what you mean by "metal profile". The steel used is mostly 3/8" up to 1/2". It's a beefy loader. I'd estimate it to be over 1,500 pounds. I'll post a photo when I can figure out how ... and where ...

Tony, you can send the photo to me at webmaster@zetorworld.com and i'll paste it here.

I am curious about the loader, i didn't have a close look at the CADplan. With a 3320, most people dont realise that weight means more than actual horsepower.
But if you say it's beefy, it must be o.k. for the 3320.
Just a general thought :)

Hey Markku,

Thanks for the post.

Unfortunately there isn't a high pressure hose from the pump that I can tap into. My hydraulic pump is in the differential covered by a plate. It appears all of the fluid is routed internally until it gets to the three quick connects. The plate that covers the differential has the port for the returning high pressure fluid from the valve power-beyond. But I don't see a high pressure take-off for connecting the pump to the valve.

Thanks again for any assistance.

There is an about 70 mm diameter plug in the hitch/diff housing cover, that you can slam out with a hammer. It is an adapter where the lines are mounted on, on both sides. You could drill an extra hole and tap into the line from underneath your hitch cover.

Any thoughts on this, guys ??

Does 3320 has the pump IN the differential housing???? That I didnt know.... I thought it was side of the engine like 6340 have. Well every day you learn something new!

Here, in finland 3 pot Zetors are not wery common. Some 5245 and 5211 has been sold but I dont know about 3340 and 3320 models least I havent ever seen those here.

Yes i thought the same thing Markku: In Holland the front mounted pump was standard on all models of the x3xx Major series.

Tom and I helped one of our US members with a similar problem. There should be a circuit diagram somewhere on the site.On my tractor (an old 674:cool: we put a Tee peice with a 90 degree shut off valve in the rear spool valve(trailer tip pipe) taking this to the valve block for the levers and returning into the transmission via the large return port in the casing near the top link.If the 3320 has 2 main hydraulic levers like the old models you just have to lock the inside lever so that oil is pumping through your circuit. It has been going for 15 years with no problems and it gets a lot of use on round bale handling!

Crystalman - I searched the site and I cannot find it:eek:

Renze - we really need a Search function given the site has got so large.

Tony - given that you already have three Quick disconnects, the hydraulic circuit schematic will answer your questions. I have e-mailed this to you.

Tom, i agree... but i dont have time at this time of the year, and i am waiting for X-forum version 2.0 which will have it. 2.0 is fully revised code that makes it easier to plug in my photo upload module too !! All i can do is wait for Diederik to complete XF2 ! :-x

I called the local Zetor dealer yesterday and ordered a conversion kit. The woman who took the order understood my needs immediately. It appears she has sold a number of these conversion kits.

The kit contains a new cover plate with a couple of built in ports and some adapters. When it arrives I'll take some digital photos of the way to run the hydraulics comparing the stock system with the conversion kit. I'll send these to Renze.

I am expecting the conversion kit on Monday (Sept. 20, 2004) and my digital camera should return the following day when my wife returns from France.

Eureka! :)

I found the Viso version of the front loader hydraulic circuit (was in my e-mail) that Mike Clements produced. Due to the difficulties in posting on the forum, if anyone wants it, send me an e-mail = tomreaney@eircom.net and I'll foward it onto to you.
