Hi all, Am new to forum thingymibobs.
I'm looking for some information on changing the clutch on a 3340, I've never split a tractor before, anything that I need to know before I start?
I have a copy of the workshop manual but even though I'm reasonably mechanically minded, it doesn't seem to make much sense!
Does anybody have any 'pearls of wisdom' other than to get someone else to do it before I start?
Many thanks in anticipation
Dave

hmmm whats what you need to know ? use wedges between the front axle pivot when you split it so the engine doesnt fall aside. And use a jack on wheels, to drive the engine with front end out of the bellhousing.

Thanks for the info. I'm going to order the parts this week with a view to doing it next week.
Will probably need to pick your brains as the job progresses, if thats ok?
Thanks again
Dave
