Hello fellow members,
My 3340 is hard to start after leaving for a day or two.
I have to pump the manual lift pump 5 or 6 times then it starts well and runs well. Starts well rest of the day.
Tractor is new to me. 980 hours.
All fuel filters have been changed.
Very difficult to reach the manual pump with loader on !!

I would not be surprised if there would be a minuscule leak in the tube or a connection directly before the pump, where air is very slowly sucked in when the engine is not running and the fuel runs slowly back into the tank. When you then try to start, the first thing that the pump sees is that air bubble and there is not much air needed to lame a diesel fuel pump. Check all lines and connections for a leak, small as it might be, and make sure that the system before the pump is completely free from air, especially remains in the filter.
