Resleeving a 3340 ,stupid question but i need to lube the o-rings correct? also what are the torque specs on connecting rods and head nuts?? In the US so please let me know in FT LBS if possible.Thank you all for ur time and patience with the new guy.Putting back together tomorrow, would really appreciate if someone could help me out with this.......................Its ashame that there have been quit a few request for torque specs on here and no one is willing to help out !!!!!!!!!

I thought it was 150kgm for the M14 studs on the older engines, and 170-180Nm for the newer M16 studs. Yours has M16.

Thats about 125-130 footpounds. Please correct me if somebody has done a UR1 head with M16 studs more recently, i havent had one open in the last 8 years.

...Actually thats why so few people respond to questions like this, most people here are pretty serious and dont want to tell false data, so they only say it when 100% sure... which i am not.

Hi,

Yes lubricate the liner 'o' rings. I use liquid soap.

Sorry these figures are in Nm's.

Big ends 80-90Nm
Cyl head nuts 167-187 Nm
Valve clearances 0.25mm

Mike
