14x28 is 16.9x28 in modern measurements. 11x28 is 12.4-28
if you do so you need bigger front tires as well, or they will eat away quick due to excessive friction in 4wd.

whys that if they are 28 tall i shouldnt need to change the front tyre size:sneaky:

It's the metal centre thats 28". Outside tyre diameter ( and therefore its circumference) varies with the width of the centre.

Best solution might be your local tyreman. When he knows your present front/rear sizes he can cross refer to tyre makers ;)listing for lower or higher tyres - this applies to any 4WD tractor. Important thing is that front wheels are not turning too fast or slow for rear ones - fronts are usually advanced 2 to 5%

all this is complicated;) probobaly easier andd cheaper to leave it standard:)

If you put 16.9/14-28, this is 12% bigger circumference then normal.
So, you need to increase fronts for same %.
Fronts are 8.00-20?
If so, new size must be 11.2/10-20 or 8.00-24 then. You'll need wider/taller front rims, and power steering, but tractor will look BIIIG!
