hi there does anyone knowthe truth about the decompression lever on the 3545. i have been told by one person it was not fitted in the uk and another has said it was fitted. can anyone give their verdict? matt
My two 3545's & two 3011's have the decompression levers fitted but no cable's to operate them from the drivers seat I think all UK destined tractors lacked the operation cables.
i have been told the decompression levers were never fitted in the uk. why they were fitted remains a mystery to me possibly because the czech republic is very snowy and the engines were slightly stiff out there but the decompression lever was a right pain it was a largeish t lever coming out the bottom of the dash which apparently you hit your knee on all the time???
ahh!! I know now it was fitted to the 3045 model??? was it a big lever sticking up from the gearbox? I have always wondered what that lever was! (But maybey it was the gear lever )
I must tell you about my faders 3011 it not only had the decomp it also had a handcrank and anyone who tried to crank upp dieselengine by hand will tell you the to tings go togeter,of corse if the battery is only low on power the decomp can save you from using the handcrank all togeter.
I dont fancy cranking a diesel even though i have a lister 3 cyl which has seperate compressors for each cylinder you swing it flik the first one keep swinging flick the second on and she will run and flick the third and your off. but your arm achees like hell after. do you know if it is possible to get the t handle???
