Hello All,
I just aquired a Zetor 4340 and thank God for this site as I have learned so much. This tractor is old but seems to work wonderfully except that I cant disengage the clutch. I found that the slave cylinder was shot so I replaced that but no luck. I inspected the Master and it shows no visable signs of leak.
I can run the tractor at a very low idle and force it into 1st gear only If I try to put it into any other gear it just grinds like crazy. I can put the tractor into high range 1st gear and crank the tractor in gear and cut my big pastures but I have to kill the engine to stop.
Any ideas? I checked out the master clyinder which I assume is the one right behind the clutch panel and I didnt see any place to bleed it, but I have bled the slave till the cows come home.
Please Help
Collin
