What do i need to change the clutch?
I will need a clutch alignment tool but do I need a adjustment tool for the fingers? Where can i find the tools? Any drawings on the net so i can make them?

I have all the normal tools so it just the Zetor special tools I need.

I have been on Goggle but no luck.

ive done maybe half a dozen clutches on various tractors but never used an alignment tool, just installed the plates so they looked centred... not had any real problems getting them back together again.
why arnt all tractors built like the old nuffields... the top of the clutch housing comes off , so the clutch can be done without splitting the tractor...even the old jcb excavators with nuffield engine and gearbox could be done in a couple of hours by one bloke

I never used special tools on our 4712 either. Just put it back in place, make sure the fingers arent worn out.
Then do final adjustments through the side hatch. You can turn the engine with a crowbar on the starter ring gear.

ive only ever used a tool once. when we did our zetor just eye the plates up. otherwise if you find a metal rod which fits nicely in the spigot bearing and build it up with insulation tape until its snug in the clutch boss, you wont far go wrong, luckliy your only doing a small tractor.

had to split my case 1594 4wd few months ago, 6 cylinder really heavy bugger, ended up making a splitting trolley. 2 man job that was.the main plate cant go out of alignment, only had to line the pto plate up,(put pto in gear nd pull the shaft out the bellhousing) easy job done.
