4718 Gear problem

Hi, i have a 4718 with a gearproblem. First the shifter was stuck in reverse. i've loosened the shifter and lined up to neutral, so now the shifter ain't stuck anymore, but the tractor is still in reverse, and if i try to put it in any other gear it just stalls. I feel less resistance in the stick when putting it in 1'st or reverse than before. Any tips or ideas?

Hi

When you lined the selectors up in neutral you've only lined up 2. The 3rd one is still in the reverse position.

I took of the top of the gearbox now, and the "fork" that changes between 1'st and Reverse is broken in pieces. Dont know the name for this part in english, somebody please help me Thinkin about searching in ebay for it. Or to know what to say if i need to order it from another country... Looks like an ok job to change this part, anyone know if its ok or trouble to do it?

Part ordered, only original available, not in stock in Norway or Denmark so ordered from Czech Republic today, approx delivery time one week, and now i have 15cm of snow out here.. Typical. Price not so bad, about 150Euro...

Not so bad for a Rolls Royce part.... the importer probably gets a 200% margin on it...69)

200% or more is to expect in Norway Not many parts to get for under 150 euro for car or tractor in Norway... Front brake pads unorigininal for a mercedes cost about 70euro
