4911 help please.

hi i have a 4911 i ve just got a link box ,but it wont hold up any weight .wud it be seals ? or oil level . where do i check oil level for link arms?
it tips my trailer ok but no power in link arms .

i think there is a oil-stick in the floore its also the lift if i have understand your question right...
