So im resurrecting my 5011 from the back 40.
900 hrs on clock and been unused 4 years ,.
After power washing it yesterday I start it at an Idle and notice pressurized oil coming out the solenoid of the starter . What is going on here ???
Never seen nothing like that in the automotive world and a novice in the tractor World.. Please help !! Thank You ...

Are you sure it's not just oily dirty water, it can't be oil as the starter is bolted to a dry area. Only shoot can come off the clutch plate that could get onto starter bendix but how that would come out of the solenoid???

I assumed it was a dry area behind there also..Then I thought maybe it is a wet area . I didnt want to let it run to long before I asked question but I think I will go out and let it run a bit longer and see if it stops ..It was coming out pretty heavy there ..Thanks for reply ..I'll follow up

Okay so upon closer look it was oil for sure but it was a leaky oil pressure gauge line that was routed behind the solenoid ( aftermarket)...Thought I was going crazy seeing oil coming out of Solenoid... :)..Okay I think its safe to order new Tires ..Thank you !!
