I've had a pond being built the past week and I decided to have a crossing cut across the creek. The dozer got stuck and we tried to push him back across with the tractor, not the best idea 69). I got him to move a foot or so then dug my self into a hole.
After i quite pushing and was trying to work my way out with the loader, the clutch went limp. When I tried to disengage the clutch, the pedal was pushed with little resistance and would not disengage. The fluid is full and there are no noticable leaks. I'm having the dozer pull it out tomorrow and would like an idea of what to try and look for. I appreciate any input and really appreciate this forum as it has been a wealth of info for me.

If one presses the clutch and another one watches behind the battery box, do you see the lever moving at all ? if not, the problem is still hydraulic .. which can be solved without splitting it.

fork that push's the thrust bearing snapped inside the bell housing ...can be changed without splitting just a bit tiight ...

We thought it was the master cylinder due to no fluid being pushed out, but we replaced it yesterday and it did not fix it. I dont mechanic but my brother in law does, though he has no experience with zetors. After finally listening to me and looking inside, the thrust bearing is moving but apparently is still not disengaging. Any thoughts on whats going?

buttress caps worn through, on which the clutch release fingers pivot.

I'm guessing the tractor has to be split? If it does is there any other parts you would recommend getting, since I'l be already ordering the buttress.

We've got it split and the mew parts in it, but can't heritage lined back up. We put all the bolts back in it to connect the two halves together but it stops going with 1.625 inches (41mm?) left to go.any suggestions or ideas of what we're doing wrong?

I am assuming that you centralised both clutch plates before you tightened the clutch covers !
Put the PTO in gear and turn it with a wrench to line up splines on PTO clutch then put tractor in gear and turn engine to line up main drive splines, and if you changed spigot bearing did you check that it was the correct size for the gearbox shaft ?

putting the transmission in gear and wiggling on the wheel also helps. you only need a mm movement of the wheel, to get it to rotate a spline width at the primary shaft when putting it in a low gear.
