I am thinking about buying a 7' Bush Hog brand rotary cutter that weights about 1200 pounds. Will the Zetor 5245 have a enough power and front end weigh for rotary cutter this large on hilly slopes? Anyone had experience with heavy implements? Thanks for yor help .

absolutely no problem. A 5245 weighs about 3200 kg of which at least 1200 on the front.

a 1200 pound bush hog is only 600 kg, which is just a toy to the 5245 ;)
7 foot width... is 2,10 meter... We borrow our neighbours 2,80 meter 3 spinner pasture topper, the 5245 doesnt care if the brush is rough, only the 2 cylinder, 1500 kg, 25 hp 2011 (built in 1965) gets light up front, and struggles through thick brush.
Just try that 5245, it will exceed your expectations by far ;)

I'm trying to read through the post and translate for myself your terminology. Is a 3 blade pasture topper a brush hog with 3 blades, would it have hydraulics like a batwing brush hog?

no, just a single deck with 6 blades on 3 shafts.
