I was putting the tractor in the barn and shifted the hi-low transmission lever form hi to low to reduce speed. Sure I put the clutch in and with my other foot stepped on the lever. It felt like it engaged, but when i popped the clutch I was still in hi speed. i check the lever by hand it is free moving. it is neither in hi or in low position, but the transmission is still in hi. This is a relief as most of what i need to do needs high speed, but i want to fix this lever. It looks pretty solid and i can see anything broken so ... any ideas are appreciated
