5545 hydraulics

Hi everyone I've finally got my 5545 running and driving. But I have one last problem that is stopping me using it. The 3 point linkage does nothing no matter what position the lever on the floor is in. The linkage arms can also be lifted up and down by hand with no effort. Just wondering what the problem could possibly be. Thinking I might have to take the cover that the linkage arms come out off off and have a look. How do I go about this any tricks?

Does it have 540/1000rpm pto ?? put it in 540. the oil pump drive goes through the 540/1000rpm gears. When using a front loader on 1000rpm PTO (oil pump) speed, dont pass 1200 engine rpm or the pump will live short..

I don't believe it has the 1000 rpm pto option. I can't see a lever for it anyway

Hi,

Start by checking the drive coupling on the hydraulic pump. They're prone to breaking. The pump is on the round plate under the rear axle.
