Hi, hydraulics on 6211 have been getting slower over the past year or so,have replaced filters etc, presume the pump is worn out . would this sound correct? front end loader, post driver use mainly running in 1000rpm 2500hrs.. regards Rob....

2500hrs running in 1000rpm??? it would certainly explain why it is buggered;) its not really designed for this;) but it will work:sneaky: you might need to consider fitting a crankshaft driven pump??? (your local enginneer will advise you on this) it will happily pump all day at any engine speed and reduce pto wear ( because its not running;) ) and also boost hydraulic power and capacity:)

I need a PTO driven hydraulic pump for an application.

Does anyone have any experience actually using one? Any tips?

We sold a good wrecker for little money (to clear the yard) this spring... you're too late for that one now... ;)

Make sure you dont get the lines too narrow... flow restrictions eats away quite some engery.. I have a chart with flow characteristics so i can look it up for you...
