hi all, new here.
been pondering a zetor for 2 years now. i live in the USA and have a old school zetor dealer not far from me.
i needed a large tractor with a cab and loader.
this is primarily for a bee farm.
the tractor looks complex, has many knobs and levers all of witch the dealer can explain what they do including the separate PTO from the transmission. however i dont know if this is big enough for all that i want to do. the primary thing i would do is use it as a forklift, the dealer said it will lift 2000LBs. it is a "frey" loader???
but in slow times i would like to bail hay with it, using a kicker baler, with a wagon attached.
other uses would be moving dirt, and a brushcutter.
the question is, is this large enough or should i wait for another one to come along in the future, as he only has one used zetor tractor.

i should mention the price is 12,000 USD and has under 1000 hours on its clock.

decent sized tractor. tidy looking too! if your bailing itll be fine i use a 3545 37hp on a small baler!! makes her shout a bit though!

That tractor is the same size and approx weight as the 7245.
I think that for what you have described it would fit the bill well as long as you havn't got land that is too hilly, as you would find it a little underpowered on steeper land.

12000usd is about 8000gbp.. hmmm seems a little expensive to me. can you haggle with the seller? supposing the hours are genuine ect i suppose that is what its worth. what are the tyres like on her?

8,366.40GBP

and i will be asking him to throw in a brush cutter. rear snow blower not included. tires are very good. he said they are natural rubber and will last the life of the tractor if not used on the road...

You can easily juice up that 6245 to 70hp because it has allmost the same engine as the 7245. It has different piston rings (alike the older 70hp models) but the same crankshaft as the 7245, and the same connecting rods as the 90hp 3.9 turbo

to get more hp youll have to open out the pump a little. as they are inline on the zetors its no problem
