Hi Zetor Folks

I need to replace my 6245 Master and Slave Clutch hyd cylinders. I know how to get at the Master Cyl , but where is the Slave Cyl and how to I get at it?

Thanks

???

Its inside the rear axle.
You need to support the cab, then pull the halfshaft portals from underneath. Dont forget to slacken the parking brake band first.

You need one of these automotive engine hoists to lift these from under the mudguards. I bought mine for 115 euro, a chinese thing good enough for me.

Eh i dont quite agree with you there renze.... its the CLUTCH and not the BRAKE sylinders he wants to change.... The clutch slave cylinder sits behind the battery box ont the LH side of the clutch housing. you can alternativitly just follov the hose from the master then you will find it. its an easy fix done in about 10 min. the master is behind the clutcpedal inside the dashboard. easy accsess is gained by removing a panel behind the engine in the front wall of the cab. good luck

Hmm iff course you're right... replaceing the clutch slave cylinder is so easy that i automatically thought that a question about slave cylinders would be about brake slave cylinders...

You're right, the slave cylinder is out in the open under the tractor, very easy to access without stripping anything else.
