I had my 6245 Zetor running for about 30-60 min and after I unhooked the bucket I backed it up and it just up and quit running. I tried cranking it and it wouldnt start at all. It wouldnt smoke while cranking it either. I cracked a couple of injector lines up while cranking it and they would not squirt like my dodge Cummins would, but they would get a little wet where I had them loose. I took the bottom plug out of the fuel canister setting beside of the fuel bowl. Fuel came out a little. I have had the tractor for about 10 years and literally used it a few times. I never have changed the fuel filter in it. What do you guys think..the fuel filter, plugged line, injection pump? The cylinders are not getting fuel to them at all

I had a similar problem the other day, turned out to be a fuel blockage in the primer pump and a little blockage in the tank outlet, apart from checking all the fittings for blockages also check your throttle linkage from the cab to the injector pump, the one on my 8011 has a tendency to rattle apart and randomly cut the fuel Off

looks likea fuel blockage ... favourite stots are the outlet from the tank and the filters... both the canister ones and is there a little gauze one in a small glass bowl on the lift pump?, its a case of following the line from the tank , loosening pipes to see how far the diesel gets,

a quick fix that sometimes works permenantly is to take off the supply pipe at the lift pump and blow air through it back to the tank, diesel dont taste nice though. you should be able to hear the air bubbling up through the diesel in the tank..... you have checked theres still some in there?

Have you accidently kicked the fuel cut off switch coming out of the tank?
Only the ones with gravity system (tank above the pump) have the cutoff valve.

Try to bleed the filters first and then injectorpump and see if its fire up . It works on my 6245. When i change filers it was slime/gele in the filters.

Where do you live ? The mix biodiesel in the diesel in your country too ?

Im from Norway . Im not sure what is mixed in the diesel.

im also from norway. are you sure you have vinterdiesel ? i had big problems With that.

Yes i have vinterdiesel :)

:D:D Translated

Dieseldiers haha i love it :D

The main reason for microorganism built up in the dieseltank is water or trace of water so consequently you have to add an additive that take the water away. I use this stuff winter and summer and have had no problem even with one year old diesel. I live in Sweden.

Yes, the bacteria grows in a layer between the water and the fuel .

My Zetor have total 850 houres since 1988. And have about 20 - 30 houres the last 6 years. Can this be my diesel/air/return slime problem ?

When I bought it last October I got it cheap because the 3 point lift not moved at all. After 3 days to 2 cans of WD40 worked 3 point lift.

So I drove 3 km in highest gear, then the entire cabin filled with smoke. Hand brake hung bit after it got cold was not porblem longer

Speedometer needle hung too. took of the glass jammed a bit. Now it work . And some other "stuck" problems
