6341 axle leak

I have a 2003 6341 that developed a sudden left rear axle leak. The leak is on the outside of the drop down gear box. After the wheel is off, what is involved in replacing the seal and most likely the bearings?. Any advice, and what to watch out for will be sincerely appreciated.
