6711 brakes not going

hi
is it a big job fixing brakes on the 6711, these brakes haven,t been going for couple of years

how do you get at brakes ,
what kind are they .

drum brakes. release the parking brake bands first, with a socket wrench through the vented plate on top of the rear axle, aside the 3pt lift cover.

Get something to lift those heavy reduction portals off the backend, on cab tractors i'd recommend an engine lift, but on cabless tractors a pulley on a roof girder will work, if you remove the mudguard too.
