The hourcounter ( not shure tis is the right word, but im shure you know what i mean) on my 6718 has come to a stand still.
Anyone knows how it works and where it is connected?
Does the tachometer (engine speed needle) working?
If not, look for broken cable (flexible shaft) from front side of engine to tachometer/hourcounter. This is common problem. If just hour counter doesn't work, and rpm is ok, probably is necessary to replace whole device.
hi
thanks ZJ for your reply. And yes ,the rpm needle is working,
so if i understand it right, the failure is inside the device.I have to see how much work it is to pull the device out for examination.
