I'm hoping someone can shed some light on the cause of this problem and also provide advice on the cure.
The PTO makes an awful grinding noise when you try to engage it. It will engage and is fine once its in.
Its particularly difficult to select the pto unless you let the engine speed drop right down to the point where its about to stall.
I'm not sure (since I'm not familiar with Zetors) but it seems as if the pto lever (the one just in front of the seat) travels further than you'd expect before the pto engages.
The lever on the left hand side can also be quite difficult to move from one setting to another - sometimes the settings can be found quite easily, other times it doesn't click into position.
Any help greatly ap[preciated.
