Hi people Ive just acquired a 1976 Zetor 6718 which I plan to restore and use on my 4.5 acre meadow. Can anyone please advise how to stop tractor from running when started. Looking forward to getting her road worthy once again.

As for all ur1 Zetors you simpli turn the trotle all the way Down, if it dont stop Your linkage is to tight.

The hand throttle is on the dash under the steering wheel and is in the off position when it's pushed anti-clockwise forward towards the front window. Sometimes you might need to lift the accelerator pedal on the floor too, if it doesn't stop.

Otherwise if the throttle doesn't work you could pull back the controller on the injector pump.
