7011 gearbox

Hi ALL, Help required please. Just bought a 1984 7011 but it won't go into 5th gear at all, all other gears work fine, any ideas ?

Will it shift when you take out the 2nd bolt from the left, which are located about 10cm in front of the hi/lo and PTO gear levers ? If so, put a washer under it untill it retains the shift fork in gear, but does allow to shift...

Found syncro ring broken on 5th gear, ground teeth off ring and now works ok but no syncro on 5th but at least it works ok now
