On low rpms the engine on my 7045 goes up and down. On Higher rpms everything works fine. There is also some smoke from the wacating pipe on the engine while running it. What could be the problem? How do I fix this?
I think you need to adjust a nut, which pre-loads a spring inside the injection pump on the governor. The spring tension adjusts the rpm band on which the governor adjusts. Too much tension and it will jitter, too little tension and it will wave up and down.
Right now i cant tell you which screw it is, its 1 of the two big screws in the middle. the smaller screws adjust the peak rpm and automatic cold start.
ok so this surging, how again is it solved? if anyone can explain in detail.
from what renze has said i am guessing its the tension of the spring you can see when you take off the little cover on top of the injector pump on the round govenor housing on the right hand side as you look at it.?>
