I just got a 7045 today, I know nothing about it and have driven it for about 5 mins. I have no idea what happend but the front loader and the rear three point lift both stopped working. The levers are not labelled and am clueless to what I have done.

I did engage the 4wd then it seemed the hydraulics just stopped.

Can anyone advise what levers and their positions I should check to get them working again. Have purchased a manual but it wont get here till next week!

On my tractor, a 3340, there are 2 levers on the floor between my legs. The one on the right is the high/low range selector and the one on the left is a hydraulic selector. Without going out (it's raining and I might melt ;) ), I think high range is back and low range is forward. The hydraulic selector needs to be all the way forward for pto and hydraulics to work. Maybe that lever got moved back?

I will check it in the morning as it is pitch black outside, in the field and it is also raining:)
Thanks for the rapid repsonse!!! Appreciate it!

thanks it worked but had to kick the lever into place so I guess it must be worn. The same thing seems to be with the 4wd selector and the lever for switching the high and low gears they won't go into place. I need to get them checked.

try moving the tractor forward and/or backward while trying to move the levers. that's what I have to do.

just let the clutch out a tad to allow the gears to move sightly to line the teeth up

It is working now. Was my own fault I had not engaged it correctly with the lever. All running well now and did a few hours work with her today!:)
Makes my old Ford 4000 that I traded for it seem like something from the stone age:)

thanks for the info!!!
