I have two symptoms:-
1 I am losing power steering fluid - there is a slight weep on the cylinder, but I am losing more than that.
2 My sump level is rising.
From this I deduce that the power steering pump is leaking into the timing case & hence the sump? Therefore I would appreciate help on the following:
What is the capacity of the powers steering reservoir on a 7045? (Damper has been removed by a previous owner, so the main tank) I assume it should be ATF? Is there a dipstick or level indicator?
Are there seals available for the pump or is it <gulp> a new P/S pump? Anyone know the seal size before I strip it?
