I went and took a look at things but this is my first time dealing with the pump and I'm not sure what I'm looking for as far as "large slotted screw bung"" will I be able to see it on the outside of the pump? If so where abouts?
Or do I have to remove the pump to find it.

you must take off the part wich the hand pump and glass bowl are fitted on. thats the feed thats the feed pump. under the feed pump you will find a large slot use a screwdriver and screw the bottom out of feed pump.
