Very disappointed today. Before the winter i changed the slave cylinder and cant remember because of a weak memory if i tested the pto. I did bleed the slave and test the operation and it was fine. But today no PTO and no hydraulics. The clue i have is that the left hand selector handle will move to any of the 4 positions without using the clutch!!! Sounds to me like the PTO clutch is staying engaged. Maybe when i put the linkage back together inside the slave housing the pto linkage got messed up. Has anyone ever done this mistake?

To change the lever on the floor to any of the 4 positions you need to pull up the hand clutch lever on your left hand side.

Changing the slave cylinder for the clutch pedal would have no bearing on the PTO

The lever on the floor will move without pulling the handle up at all.

If the lever on the floor is moving without using the hand clutch, check the roll pin is not broken and slipping on the shaft. Otherwise you'll have to take the top off the gearbox.

Ok found the problems. the 540/1000 pin was not all the way to the left. Thanks for reading.
